Prenatal Care

Prenatal massage therapy can help support a pregnant person all throughout their pregnancy, starting from the time of conception till the end of the 3rd trimester and even post-pregnancy. Massage can help reduce anxiety, relieve muscle and joint pains, and help to relax ligaments and muscles to improve a person’s labor outcome, the position of the baby, and reduce the chance of complications.

Massage therapy is available from the 1st trimester all the way through to the end of the 3rd. Parent's to be can be positioned in a comfortable side-lying position or with pregnancy pillows in a facedown position, in order for us to give you the best treatment possible. 

Ayla is able to offer a pregnant person and their partners some helpful techniques to use throughout the pregnancy and during labour, including massage techniques to help relieve tension for the expecting parent.
